I took the kids to see "Over The Hedge" tonight; it was pretty cute and we all had a good time just being out together.
Faith is leading this week's round of fishing 13 to 12. I think she's may be a natural. We didn't go tonight but we'll probably go Thursday.
Lots of people are stopping by but not many are leaving comments.

Things are good here I reckon. The truck washin lesson went good yesterday. It was an easy first lesson for him; he listened and rinsed.
The garden is mostly in. We're tryin watermelons for the first time this year. I've a mind to say our growin season ain't long enough, but we'll see. M planted three short rows of sweet corn, it ain't up yet. Sugar snap peas are bein eat now, they're so sweet and good raw we rarely cook them.
Irises are about done bloomin, sweet William's in, lilies are buddin, and our roses are divine. Thank the good Lord the Japanese beetles ain't botherin us here yet or we'd have no roses. Mock orange is another lovely aromatic plant that's doin good. You should get that, and some roses if you are roseless.

I've definitely been better...
... I've only caught one fish in my whole life, and I've been fishing at least ten times... Sad...
