Do you ever look through the footprints on your Xanga?  I got some from France and the Netherlands today -- I dunno, it just seems kinda strange.  Who's been stopping in to see you?

I wasn't really in to the Superbowl this year; I'm not a fan of the Bears or the Colts.  Go Seahawks!  I missed the halftime show too -- I had to go pick my son up from a party.  Honestly I spent more time watching Monk than watching the game.  I did catch a few of the commercials and I thought a couple of them were funny.  I liked the beard combover, the lions and the crabs.  How was your Superbowl experience.

Workin’ 9 to 5; What a Way to Make a Livin’

I mentioned a while ago that I’ve given up my lavish military career and started a new job.  Now I’m just a Monday through Friday, 7 to 4, regular guy – it’s kind of nice.  I’ve managed to settle in to my new position fairly easily so the transition hasn't been too severe.  It is a bit odd not wearing the uniform after 20 years though.

It’s a Long Way to the Top If You Want to Rock and Roll

You may remember me posting about a song I wrote for my Grandma that was recorded and released by a friend of mine. It actually did fairly well despite Christian Country music being such a small market.  It was in the Powersource Top 20 for about 20 weeks and was even #1 for one week.  Don’t worry though, I’ll still be the same guy you’ve known and loved after the royalty checks start coming in.  I expect they should be somewhere in the order of $0.57.

It's a cold, rainy, generally crappy day here today and yet I still feel pretty good.

How are things in your world today?
